WHAT'S A FAITH BASED STUDY GROUP?
A faith-based study group is a guided, spiritually-focused gathering where a small group of individuals comes together to explore topics related to faith, personal growth, and life application through a biblical lens. Led by a facilitator—often a pastor, coach, or spiritually grounded leader—these sessions typically involve scripture reading, discussion, reflection, prayer, and practical takeaways for daily life.
The purpose of a faith-based group study is to deepen participants’ understanding of their faith, strengthen their relationship with God, and build meaningful connections with others. It’s important to understand that a faith-based group study is not a substitute for therapy or professional medical help. While it can be emotionally and spiritually enriching, it does not provide clinical care or address mental health conditions, which should be handled by licensed professionals.
